Two House Democrats are calling for the White House budget office to provide an analysis of a Republican budget resolution set for consideration this week.

{mosads}Rep. John Yarmuth (Ky.), Budget Committee ranking rember, and Ways and Means Committee ranking member Richard Neal (Mass.) sent a letter on Monday to Shaun Donovan, head of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), asking him to assess the blueprint.

The budget measure would at least partially repeal the Affordable Care Act.

“Given the importance of the budget resolution and our expected compressed schedule, we would appreciate the Office of Management and Budget’s views on the Senate-introduced resolution,” the lawmakers wrote.

“Specifically, we are interested in your office’s assessment of the resolution’s impact on our long term budget outlook.”

The Senate is set to hold a vote-a-rama on the budget plan on Wednesday that would start the process to dismantle ObamaCare even though Republicans have yet to craft a replacement.

Republican lawmakers are expected to use a process known as reconciliation to protect the healthcare law repeal from a filibuster.
