Issa probes Energy Dept. power agency hiring, alleged retaliation
The Energy Department on Monday placed the BPA Administrator Bill Drummond and Chief Operating Officer Anita Decker on leave. And according to the IG report, Energy Department management has taken various “corrective actions” that were “fully responsive” to the probe’s findings.
But Issa’s letter, in addition to seeking documents about practices at the Pacific Northwest power agency, asks when Poneman first learned of the allegations and what actions have been taken to “identify the scale of wrongdoing.”
