“We are getting pretty much ready to start evaluating the docket on a case-by-case basis,” Moniz said. He didn’t give a specific timeline on new decisions but said more would “absolutely” be forthcoming this year.

The Energy Department is reviewing applications to export gas from terminals in the Gulf Coast and elsewhere.
In mid-May, before Moniz arrived, the department approved its second industry application to export gas to nations that lack a trade deal with the U.S. It was the first such approval since 2011.
