Lobby firm snags House Armed Services staffer
{mosads}On the Hill, Zakheim oversaw the Armed Services panel’s investigation and oversight hearings and managed legislation such as the Defense Department’s multibillion dollar budget.
“It has been a fascinating time to be at the center of the national security debate, but I am really looking forward to launching a new chapter in my career,” Zakheim said in a statement.
Prior to working in the House, Zakheim served as the deputy assistant secretary of Defense.
