Northrop Grumman nabs former Defense Department contract specialist
As assistant general counsel for Northrop Grumman’s government contracts and government relations department, Nathan will provide legal guidance to the company’s corporate lobbying and strategy teams, as well as counsel to the company’s political action committee, ENGPAC.
Northrop Grumman is the No. 5 contractor with the federal government, granted $10.4 billion in contract awards in fiscal 2012, according to data compiled by the General Services Administration.
{mosads}Northrop Grumman’s PAC and employees contributed nearly $4 million to federal candidates, parties and outside groups during the 2012 election cycle, and the company spent more than $17.5 million on lobbying last year, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

Cheston, corporate vice president and general counsel, in a statement. “His intimate understanding of our customers’ requirements should help us serve them better in this evolving environment.”
