{mosads}The site was replaced by a black screen and a message to the Marines written by “your brothers in the Syrian Army,” according to several media reports.
“Obama is a traitor who wants to put your lives in danger to rescue Al-Qa’ida insurgents… The Syrian army should be your ally not your enemy,” the text reads, according to the Independent.
{mosads}”Refuse your orders and concentrate on the real reason every soldier joins their military, to defend their homeland. You’re more than welcome to fight alongside our army rather than against it.”
The page includes photos of soldiers in uniform holding messages expressing opposition to military engagement in Syria.
The Marines’ website was back to normal shortly after the hacking.
