Graham: Hack shows how rivals walk over US under Obama

The massive hack of the federal work force’s private data is another example of foreign rivals walking over the United States, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said in a statement late Thursday.

{mosads}Graham said the hack, thought to have come from China, illustrates the Obama administration’s weakness on foreign policy.

“I fear the massive data breach at the [OPM] may turn out to be yet another example of America being walked over by rivals and adversaries,” said Graham, who earlier this week said he was running for president.

He’s the first candidate to comment on the digital theft, which was revealed on Thursday.

“The Obama administration’s failures in foreign policy and national security continue to pile up yet they do nothing to change course,” Graham said. “I fear a cyber ‘Pearl Harbor’ is increasingly more likely if we do not invest in the necessary infrastructure to protect our nation.”
