Watch ‘The Interview’ scene depicting Kim Jong Un’s death

The pivotal scene from the controversial comedy “The Interview” — in which North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s head catches on fire and explodes — has been leaked.

The scene — as well the entire movie — is the impetus for a devastating cyberattack on Sony Pictures Entertainment, the studio behind the film. The hackers escalated their damage earlier this week, threatening 9/11-style attacks on any theater that screens the movie, causing Sony to cancel the film’s Christmas Day release.

Only 27 seconds long, the much discussed scene shows a rocket heading toward a helicopter carrying the North Korean dictator while a down-tempo version of Katy Perry’s “Firework” plays.

Kim Jong-un looks on in horror as the explosion hits the chopper and engulfs him in flames.

U.S. officials are reportedly close to naming North Korea in the cyberattack against Sony.
