Corey Lewandowski: ‘Harvey Weinstein Democrats’ say one thing, do another

Activist liberals have a very different morality than average Americans. They paint all of their opponents as hate mongers. One is either a racist, sexist or some other flavor of hater. They do this as a way of dehumanizing their opposition.

We have now seen the emergence of the “Harvey Weinstein Democrats” who live one way and preach that everybody else live by a different set of standards. Much like Hillary Clinton believed that she was above the law, Weinstein acted like he was above the law for years. The Harvey Weinstein Democrats are finally paying a price for a holier than thou lifestyle.

{mosads}Liberals accuse opponents of being haters on a daily basis. They never think of the consequences of mislabeling somebody as evil. They don’t seem to care. These politically active left wingers believe that they are better than the rest of us and treat us differently than they treat one of their own.

Just look at the recent news about two prominent liberal elites. Harvey Weinstein and the “What Happened” tour of excuses put on over the past few weeks by Hillary Clinton have shown the American people that these clueless activists think the American people are too dumb to hold them accountable. Liberals never take any blame for mistakes or unethical behavior and above all — they always protect their own.

The emerging case of Harvey Weinstein is a case study in cover-up and corruption. It seems that everybody in Hollywood and Washington knew that Weinstein was an abusive person, yet his pals covered it up, because Weinstein made movies pushing a liberal agenda, and more importantly, he was bankrolling liberal causes for years.

In 2013, Michelle Obama called her “good friend” Harvey Weinstein a “wonderful human being.” Obama propaganda minister Anita Dunn of the left-wing PR firm SKDKnickerbocker was caught informally advising Weinstein on how to respond to the serious sexual abuse allegations. Self-proclaimed feminist attorney Lisa Bloom was also helping to defend Weinstein from allegations of sexual abuse, quite possibly because Weinstein was making one of her books into a miniseries. When an important liberal is under fire, the team will roll in and pay that person back for years of donations and support.

From the New York Times report headlined “Harvey Weinstein Paid Off Sexual Harassment Accusers for Decades:”

“Lisa Bloom, a lawyer advising Mr. Weinstein, said in a statement that ‘he denies many of the accusations as patently false.’ In comments to The Times earlier this week, Mr. Weinstein said that many claims in Ms. O’Connor’s memo were ‘off base’ and that they had parted on good terms.”

The moment that Weinstein took a leave of absence and it appears that his career is over, Bloom dropped him as a client. How convenient.

The case of the Hillary Clinton tour of excuses is also instructive on how liberals respond to failure. They blame others and sling mud. The fact of the matter is the answer to the question of “What Happened” is that Clinton was beaten by a better candidate, yet rewriting history is one of the left’s talents that has gone unreported by the mainstream media.

Clinton complained about too much coverage of her illegal email server for the purposes of skirting public disclosure of her time as secretary of State. Considering her lack of accomplishments, there seemed not to be much to hide.

Clinton was so angry about bad press that she called out the New York Times for creating a “scandal jamboree” because they dared to report on her unethical behavior. Clinton blamed former FBI Director James Comey for ruining her chances of becoming president because he did his job by investigating the scandal.

Jonathan Allen characterized the Clinton excuses in a piece for Politico as falling into three categories:

She was robbed on Election Day, the electorate is comfortable with sexism, she did plenty of things right — and she’s keeping track of who did her wrong.

Basically, the media, Comey, Putin, sexist voters robbed her of the election. Like a true liberal, Clinton took zero of the blame, even though she refused to campaign in Wisconsin, told coal workers that she would put them in the unemployment line, called some potential voters “deplorable” and ran the worst campaign in American history. Yet, somehow she was blameless.

From Harvey Weinstein to Hillary Clinton, it is clear that the bad on the left are faultless. The Clintons apparently didn’t care about the rumors of Weinstein’s creepy behavior, and the Obamas were more than happy to host Weinstein at the White House because he was not only a deep pocketed donor — he made movies for the left too. Expect the Weinstein defenders to call his opponents bad people and to make excuses for his behavior.

The Weinstein Democrats will find some way to explain this whole scandal away and to rehabilitate Hillary’s train wreck of a campaign. That is the one thing they are very good at.
