President Trump’s advisers will join the Sunday show circuit this week to discuss the president’s upcoming trip to Helsinki, Finland, where he is set to participate in a bilateral summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

U.S. Ambassador to Russia Jon Huntsman will join “Fox News Sunday” and NBC’s “Meet the Press” where he will discuss plans for the summit scheduled for Monday, including possible topics of discussion between the two leaders.

Also joining ABC’s “This Week” from the White House to discuss the Helsinki summit will be national security adviser John Bolton, who traveled to Moscow last month to set up the Trump-Putin summit.

CNN anchor Jake Tapper said Saturday that Bolton was also scheduled to appear on “State of the Union” on Sunday but the White House cancelled the interview after fellow CNN journalist Jim Acosta had a tense exchange with Trump during a press conference this week.

One possible topic of discussion between Trump and Putin at the summit is the indictment this week of 12 Russian intelligence officials who were accused by the special counsel’s office of being behind the 2016 hack of the Democratic National Committee.

Several top Senate Democrats sent a letter to Trump on Saturday urging him not to meet with Putin one-on-one this this week after news of the indictment broke Friday, calling the Russian leader “a trained KGB intelligence veteran who will come to this meeting well-prepared.”

Among those Democrats was Senate Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Sen. Mark Warner (Va.), who will join NBC as well as CNN’s “State of the Union” to discuss the indictments and the summit. A Republican on the committee, Sen. John Cornyn (Texas), will appear on CBS’ “Face the Nation.

Democratic Sen. Chris Coons (Del.), who also sits on the Intelligence Committee but was not one of the letter’s signatories, will appear on Fox News.

Meanwhile, two members of the House Intelligence Committee – Reps. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) and Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) – will also join the Sunday circuit to discuss the indictments, appearing on CBS and CNN, respectively.

Joining Gowdy on CBS will be Rep. Joe Crowley (N.Y.), the No. 4 House Democrat who was defeated in a primary last month by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D), who this week accused the Democratic lawmaker of refusing to concede and preparing a third-party bid for office.
