An 18-year-old has been charged with murder after three people were found dead, including a mother and daughter that were tied to a bed.
The St. Louis police announced Thursday that Prinshun McClain was arrested and is still in custody on Friday, according to police spokeswoman Evita Caldwell, NBC News reported.
McClain has been charged with three counts of murder, one count of burglary and four counts of armed criminal action, according to the police.
Victoria Manisco, 26, was the first person police say was shot Tuesday night on her porch. She was found dead Wednesday.
Terri Bankhead, 27, and her daughter Da’Nilya Edwards, 8, were found dead in their home about 8 miles away on Wednesday, according to NBC News.
Bankhead’s mother found the two dead and tied to a bed after visiting the house to check on them. She became worried after she didn’t hear from her daughter.
“It’s very hard to believe. I knew Terri a long time,” Bankhead’s cousin, Shagreggria Brown, told a local NBC station. “We all called her ‘Shug,’ because she was sweet as sugar.”
