Florida Boy Scouts uncover human remains while working on Eagle Scout project
Local Boy Scouts in Pensacola, Fla., discovered human remains Saturday while they cleaned in and around a building as part of an Eagle Scout project, ABC News affiliate WEAR reported.
Pensacola Police said in a statement that it was investigating the incident. The Medical Examiner’s officer determined the bones found were human, police said.
Police told the ABC News affiliate that the historically-designated building where the remains were found is owned by the city and has been used over the years by civic groups including the Boy Scouts.
