Man kills 2 coworkers near Milwaukee before killing himself: police
A man is accused of killing two of his coworkers at a supermarket distribution center near Milwaukee before killing himself after a police chase.
Local Teamsters officials told The Associated Press that a man fatally shot two men at the Roundy’s distribution center in Oconomowoc, Wis., about 30 miles west of Milwaukee, on Tuesday evening before fleeing the scene, leading police on a chase and then killing himself. None of the men’s identities have been released.
“All three of these workers were very important during this pandemic because they worked very hard to serve our community,” Thomas Bennett, General Teamsters Local Union No. 200’s secretary-general, said of the two victims and the suspect.
“Maybe things wear on you after while,” he added.
Photos of the crash scene show the suspect’s vehicle parked in front of a home. Authorities said the suspect died at the scene of self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

“We are deeply saddened by the incident that occurred last night at our Oconomowoc distribution center. The entire Roundy’s family offers our thoughts, prayers, and support to the families of our colleagues during this difficult time,” a spokesperson for the Roundy’s supermarket chain told local news affiliate WISN.
“We are cooperating with local law enforcement, who have secured our facility. Our distribution center will remain closed while the police investigation continues,” the company added. “We are providing counseling services to our associates. To protect the integrity of the ongoing investigation we are referring questions to the Oconomowoc Police Department.”
