Lindsey Graham: ‘In this fight it is clear — Israel is the good guy and Hamas is the bad’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC.) sent a series of tweets on Tuesday claiming that Israel is the “good guy” and Hamas is the “bad” as Hamas launched two rockets in continued clashes with Israeli armed forces. 

Graham shared a Wall Street Journal article on the current tension in his post, claiming Hamas, a Palestinian militant organization that rules the city of Gaza, is a terrorist organization that is “hoping to kill as many civilians as possible” by launching rockets into Israel. 

In response, Israeli Defense Forces respond with surgical strikes and try to limit civilian causalities as much as possible.

“In this fight it is clear — Israel is the good guy and Hamas is the bad,” Graham said in his post. 

Graham also mentioned that the rockets that Hamas has fired at Israel are made by Iran, blaming the Biden administration for its “lack of leadership” in the situation.  

It is important to remember the Hamas rockets being fired into Israel are, for the most part, made possible by Iranian support.

What had been a relatively stable situation is rapidly deteriorating because of a lack of leadership by the Biden Administration.

This comes as tension has risen in the last few days near Al-Aqsa Mosque as celebrations take place during Ramadan, Islam’s holy month.

Airstrikes by both sides have left 26 Palestinians and two Israelis dead in the past 48 hours.
