The Hill has hired Joshua Eure as Executive Producer of The Hill video. Josh has extensive experience in local and national media, and we are excited he is joining the team.
He has been a senior producer at CBS News and ABC News and executive director of news content and strategy at KXXV-TV in Waco, Texas. Under Josh’s leadership, KXXV went from #3 in the market to #1 within three months and remained there for his tenure. More recently, Josh was Vice President of Live Programming & DC Bureau Chief for Black News Channel.
Josh will supervise and work with The Hill’s producers and editors on a wide range of high-quality original content and will help enhance production quality and efficiency. He will also identify new opportunities in the political news space as he has done throughout his impressive career.
Josh graduated from Morgan State University in Baltimore and subsequently won an Emmy award for Breaking News in Charm City.
Asked to share some personal details, Josh relayed that he’s an avid traveler with recent passport stamps from United Arab Emirates, South of France, Germany and Mexico. Josh added his teen daughter is his “plus one” and he enjoys hiking with his 3-year-old Cane Corso dog named Miles. Recently, he worked on a documentary exposing the disparities in the education system for young Black boys in Tampa, Florida.
