Cuomo, DeWine and Beshear are most popular governors as bobbleheads

Bobbleheads of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D), Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine (R) and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear (D) are the top-selling gubernatorial big-headed figurines from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum store.

The hall of fame is running an ongoing fundraiser, donating $5 from sales of bobbleheads of state governors, and of Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx, the nation’s leading doctors on the White House coronavirus task force.

Donations go to the American Hospital Association’s Protect the Heroes Campaign to support the 100 Million Mask Challenge

Since the beginning of the pandemic, access to protective equipment has been a major issue for hospitals, who do not have enough masks, disposable gowns, gloves and face shields for their front-line workers.

The fundraiser has generated more than $200,000 in donations that will go toward the effort to fund purchases of personal protective equipment in hospitals.

Sales from Fauci bobbleheads amount to $170,000 in donations alone, according to a spokesperson for the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame.

The hall of fame also allows website users to submit suggestions of governors to be honored in future bobblehead releases.

Recently, the museum store debuted New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) as a bobblehead. Sales of his figurine will also be included in the fundraiser program.
