Ted Cruz: World Series win ‘would be great’ for Texas after Hurricane Harvey
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) on Saturday said a World Series win for the Houston Astros “would be great” for his home state following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey.
{mosads}“W/ Heidi, cheering on @astros Tough loss tonight but we’ll still win. After Harvey, a World Series win would be great for TX. #HoustonStrong,” Cruz wrote on Twitter, including a photo of him and his wife, Heidi Cruz, at the Saturday night game in Houston.

The Astros lost the Saturday night game by four runs to the Los Angeles Dodgers, leaving the series tied 2-2.
Houston earlier this year was struck by Hurricane Harvey, which first made landfall as a Category 4 storm. The hurricane was the first of several this season to impact the United States and its territories.
