Lights were dimmed on the strip in Las Vegas on Sunday night to honor the victims of the mass shooting one week earlier.

Most of the gaming properties on the Strip turned off their digital marquees at 10:05 p.m. for 11 minutes, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

More than 50 people were killed and hundreds were injured when a gunman opened fire on the crowd at a country music festival in Las Vegas.

{mosads}The shooting has sparked a renewed debate on gun control, as many lawmakers push for new measures to prevent future gun violence.

The National Rifle Association has also called for new regulations on “bump stocks,” the device used by the Las Vegas gunman that allows semi-automatic weapons to fire more rapidly.

President Trump said last week he is open to considering new measures on bump stocks in the wake of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.

“We’ll be looking into that over the next short period of time,” he said.
