President Biden will participate in a sit-down interview with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell before the network hosts a town hall on vaccine safety and efficacy Wednesday night.

The prime-time interview with Biden will air at 10 p.m. Wednesday on the network, followed by a town hall-style meeting featuring members of the White House coronavirus task force team.

Anthony Fauci, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra and U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy will attend the town hall, the network said.

Viral immunologist Kizzmekia Corbett, who helped develop the Moderna vaccine, will also join for an exclusive interview to discuss the science behind the vaccine and efforts to temper vaccine hesitancy in communities of color specifically.

Biden has called on all Americans to get a coronavirus vaccine, saying it is the patriotic thing to do and the fastest way to get life in America back to normal.

“Vaccines can save your own life, but they can also save your grandmother’s life, your co-worker’s life,” Biden said last month

Biden met with a select group of television anchors last month ahead of his State of the Union address.
