Rita Cosby to host new 77 WABC Radio evening show
Former Fox News and MSNBC host Rita Cosby is returning to New York talk station 77 WABC Radio to host a new evening show starting Monday.
Cosby’s eponymous show airs from 10 p.m. to midnight ET and will feature breaking news and interviews, according to a company statement announcing the new program.
“‘The Rita Cosby Show’ will bring a new and exciting dynamic to our important evening programming,” said John Catsimatidis, CEO of Red Apple Group, which owns subsidiaries Red Apple Media and 77 WABC Radio.
Cosby has ties to both New York and WABC. The Brooklyn-born broadcaster worked at the station from 2014 to 2018 as its political editor and as a host for midday and weekend shows.
In addition to earning several broadcast industry awards, Cosby has anchored Fox News and MSNBC shows and has interviewed international celebrities, several U.S. presidents and Pope Francis.
John Catsimatidis is an investor in The Hill.
