Fox News schedules debut of new Gutfeld show
Fox News has set a date for the debut of Greg Gutfeld’s new late-night show and officially given it a new name.
The new show will be called “Gutfeld!” and will begin airing on the cable outlet on April 5 at 11 p.m. ET., according to a Fox News announcement.
The current show in that slot, “Fox News @ Night” anchored by Shannon Bream, will move to midnight when Fox usually airs reruns of other shows.
The network first announced the new show in early February. Gutfeld’s current show “The Greg Gutfeld Show” will stop airing on March 13 and Fox hasn’t yet announced what will take its place in its 10 p.m. ET time slot.
Content on the new show will include Gutfeld’s commentary on current events as well as commentary from Fox News contributors and other celebrities. The show will also employ comedians Tom Shillue, Joe DeVito and Joe Machi.
“The Greg Gutfeld Show” began airing on Fox in May 2015. Prior to that, Gutfeld anchored the Fox’s late-night broadcast “Red Eye” that aired between 3 a.m. and 4 a.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
