A Fox News medical contributor will interview President Trump on camera Friday night for the first time since the president tested positive for COVID-19 last week.
Marc Siegel will conduct the interview remotely from New York, with Trump participating from the White House, Fox News said.
“[Trump] will discuss his current condition as well as his experience,” Fox News said in a statement Friday.
The interview will air on “Tucker Carlson Tonight” at 8 p.m.
The Hill has reached out to Fox about whether the interview will be broadcast live.
The president conducted two phone interviews on Thursday, with Fox Business anchor Maria Bartiromo and Fox News host Sean Hannity.
Trump revealed on Oct. 2 that he had been diagnosed with COVID-19 and was taken to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center later that day. He was discharged Monday evening and has been working from the White House.
The Trump campaign said Friday that the president may hold a rally as early as Saturday after his doctor indicated he would be well enough to do so.
