Hannity’s first book in 10 years debuts at No. 1 on Amazon

Fox News host Sean Hannity’s first book in 10 years debuted atop Amazon’s bestseller list on Tuesday.

The new release is Hannity’s seventh book, and his first since “Conservative Victory” in 2010.

The publication of “Live Free or Die: America (and the World) on the Brink” comes just two days after it received a promotional boost from President Trump in a tweet to his more than 85 million followers.

Hannity, a staunch Trump supporter, discussed his latest book in an interview with Mark Levin on “Life, Liberty and Levin.”

“I have a five-alarm fire in my heart, my mind and my soul right now for this country,” Hannity said. “The stated policies in this election of this very feeble, very confused, seemingly very weak Joe Biden, if they are ever implemented — Mark Levin, you know, because you’ve written the books on statism and you have written the books on liberty and tyranny.”

“I think everything that has made this country great, everything that has made us the shining city on the hill, is riding on this election,” he added.

Hannity was the most-watched cable news host in July, averaging 4.1 million viewers.

Trump and his allies have attempted to tie Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, to the far-left wing of the Democratic Party while presenting the president as the law-and-order candidate.

Political books have sold exceptionally well during Trump’s presidency.

Michael Wolff’s “Fire and Fury,” Bob Woodward’s “Fear” and former FBI Director James Comey’s “A Higher Loyalty” each sold millions of copies, while a book by the president’s niece, Mary Trump, sold more than 1 million copies in its first month of publication earlier this summer.

A White House memoir by John Bolton, Trump’s former national security adviser, sold nearly 800,000 copies in its first week of sales.
