Comey to release second book, ‘Saving Justice: Truth, Transparency, and Trust’ in January
Former FBI Director James Comey will release his second book in January shortly before Inauguration Day, according to a press release from publisher Flatiron Books.
“Saving Justice: Truth, Transparency, and Trust” will be the name of the follow-up to “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,” which has been one of the top-selling books of the Trump presidency. It sold 600,000 copies in its first week alone.
New book coming. I hope it will be useful as our country works — starting in 2021 — to restore faith in Justice. https://t.co/MGE9mI29wE

“In the new book, Comey draws on his long, varied career in the law and justice system, from prosecuting mobsters as an Assistant US Attorney in the Southern District of New York in the 1980s to his tumultuous stint as FBI director working under Donald Trump, to illuminate the core values of the Department of Justice, and the path to restoring them,” the Flatiron announcement reads. “‘Saving Justice’ is a clarion call for a return to non-partisan law enforcement centered on American values.”
The announcement comes one week after Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) told Fox’s Sean Hannity that Comey will be called to testify for “multiple in-depth congressional hearings regarding all things related to Crossfire Hurricane” on the origins of the Russia investigation in September.
