Trump Jr. knocks CNN’s Chris Cuomo over interview with father: ‘I’m not pretending to be a journalist’
Donald Trump Jr. mocked CNN anchor Chris Cuomo in a Tuesday tweet while promoting his own interview with his father, which is set to air on a Trump campaign online show.
“Guys, unlike CNN and Chris Cuomo when he interviews his brother, I’m not pretending to be a journalist here,” Trump Jr. tweeted, referencing Chris Cuomo’s interviews with his brother, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D).
“This is just me having a fun conversation with my dad. Tune in on Thursday night, it will be a good one,” Trump Jr. added.
He joked that he “may or may not” ask the president about aliens.

Trump Jr. will be interviewing the president on the Trump campaign’s online show “Triggered” in an interview set to air Thursday night. It is the first time the president will appear on one of the campaign’s online shows.
Chris Cuomo repeatedly interviewed his brother in recent months regarding the status of the coronavirus pandemic, which hit New York the hardest in the U.S.
