Former “Today” show host Ann Curry is shrugging off her exclusion from an anniversary video marking the show’s 25th season, adding that “she’s moved on” after she was unceremoniously dumped from the program in 2012.

“I wasn’t watching, so I didn’t know about it. I got a lot of tweets about it. I wouldn’t say I was surprised. I guess I’ve moved on so much that my response was essentially, ‘oh,’ ” Curry said in an interview published by TV Newser on Friday.

{mosads}”But I was there for a long time, and I did feel — it was what you might expect — that as a human being, I would feel touched that people would tweet me and say, ‘I think you deserved to be in the tape.’ That was very touching,” she added.

Curry tearfully left the popular NBC morning program in June 2012 after being promoted to co-anchor alongside Matt Lauer just one year earlier. Curry had served as “Today” news reader since 1997.

Lauer, who reportedly pushed NBC management to remove Curry, was also excluded from the ‘Today’ anniversary video. He was fired from NBC News in 2017 amid multiple allegations of sexual misconduct.

Following Lauer’s firing, Curry said she was “not surprised” by the allegations against him.

Curry began her career in broadcast news at an NBC affiliate in Oregon after graduating from the University of Oregon.

Curry, 62, officially left NBC News in 2015.
