Conservative Jesse Kelly warns Tucker Carlson after Twitter ban: ‘They will come for you too’

Conservative pundit and former Iraq War veteran Jesse Kelly warned Fox News host Tucker Carlson that he and other conservatives would be targeted by Twitter after the pundit and former Iraq War veteran was permanently banned by the social media giant.

“Why did Twitter take you off its platform?” Carlson asked late Monday on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

“Nobody knows. Twitter kicked me off the platform because I was a mainstream voice on the right that spoke the truth,” replied Kelly, a two-time congressional candidate. “They’ve given me no explanation [after] they told Congress they would give explanations.

{mosads}”All they sent was an email that said, ‘You are permanently banned and you can’t appeal it for repeated rules violations.'”

Kelly, who currently hosts a radio talk show in Houston, was banned from Twitter on Sunday, sparking an uproar from conservatives.

Kelly, during a discussion with Carlson three months ago, predicted he would be kicked off Twitter after conspiracy theorist and Infowars founder Alex Jones was removed.

“They did exactly what I said they would do. They came for Alex Jones first because he’s a nut job and they wanted to see how the right would react,” Kelly told Carlson at the time. “They got him and I knew they were coming for me. And they will come for you too.”

Kelly, 37, later alleged that Twitter was being hypocritical for banning him from the platform but allowing Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan to stay despite repeatedly making anti-Semitic remarks, including calling Jews “termites.”

According to Twitter’s “range of enforcement options” page, Kelly should have been told what policy he violated to spark the ban.

“When we permanently suspend an account, we notify people that they have been suspended for abuse violations, and explain which policy or policies they have violated and which content was in violation,” according to Twitter.

Twitter declined to comment on Kelly’s ban, citing privacy and security reasons.

The ban comes four days after far-right activist and conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer was banned from Twitter after her criticism of Rep.-elect Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.), one of the first Muslim women elected to Congress.
