Fox’s Jarrett rips CNN’s Lemon as ‘a racist, hypocrite and idiot all rolled into one’

Fox News legal analyst Gregg Jarrett on Wednesday called Don Lemon “a racist, hypocrite and idiot all rolled up into one” after the CNN anchor said that “the biggest terror threat in this country is white men.” 

“CNN’s Don Lemon has now removed all doubt that he is a racist, hypocrite and idiot all rolled into one,” Jarrett tweeted. “Quite the accomplishment.”

{mosads}Jarrett, a former MSNBC and Court TV anchor, joined other media members, primarily conservatives, who slammed Lemon for comments made Monday night and have since gone viral.

“We have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men, most of them radicalized to the right, and we have to start doing something about them,” Lemon said to fellow CNN anchor Chris Cuomo as the latter handed off his show.

“There is no travel ban on them. There is no ban on — you know, they had the Muslim ban. There is no white guy ban,” Lemon added.

Lemon was referring to a ban preventing travel to the U.S. by nationals from five Muslim-majority countries introduced by the Trump administration in early 2017. The Supreme Court upheld the ban in June on a 5-4 vote.

Lemon, who joined CNN in 2006, has anchored “CNN Tonight” since 2014.

Fox News and CNN have escalated their war of words in recent months both on air and on social media, primarily over each’s respective coverage of President Trump.
