Eric Bolling: I’d work for Trump for $1
Former Fox News anchor Eric Bolling said Thursday that he would work for President Trump for a salary as low as $1, responding to an Axios reporter who speculated that Bolling could soon end up in the White House.
Bolling tweeted in response to Axios’s Jonathan Swan that he would work for Trump for $1 if it mean being allowed to work by the president’s side helping him achieve key points of his agenda, as opposed to a peripheral posting in the Trump administration.

“I’d work for a single US $1 to help drain the swamp, plug the leaks, build the wall with Pesos, lower taxes, build infrastructure, protect #2A and save some parents from the scourge of opioids,” Bolling wrote.
“But that would mean working directly with POTUS, not near him,” he added.

Bolling is a close ally of the president and earlier this month appeared in an official White House video speaking about his son, Eric Chase Bolling, who died last year from an opioid overdose. The video was part of the White House’s Opioids Summit, which began the first of this month.
The former Fox News anchor was ousted from the news network last September, one month after he was suspended over allegations that he sent lewd messages to female co-workers.
“Fox News Channel is canceling The Specialists, and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably,” the network said in a statement last year.
“We thank Eric for his ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.”
