Fox News host Sean Hannity on Saturday invited James Comey to come on his broadcast programs after the former FBI director took to Twitter to share his thoughts on President Trump.

Hannity responded to a tweet from Comey telling Trump that “the American people will hear my story very soon” by inviting the former FBI chief to appear on his prime-time Fox News show and his radio show.

Comey had tweeted at the president, saying the American people would be able to “judge for themselves who is honorable and who is not.”

Comey is slated to go on a media tour next month to promote his new book, “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies and Leadership,” which is set to be released April 17.

The former FBI director who was fired by Trump is set to sit down with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos for an interview airing April 15. He is also poised to appear on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on April 17 and on ABC’s “The View” the following day.

Comey is expected to use his upcoming book tour to counter Trump’s attacks against the FBI, which continued on Saturday as the president took a victory lap following the firing of FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions fired the No. 2 FBI official on Friday, just two days before he was set to retire after more than 20 years at the bureau. Sessions said he fired McCabe because he shared unauthorized information with the media and was not forthcoming with investigators looking into the matter.

McCabe has defended himself following his firing, saying he had the authority to share the information and that he was instead fired as part of a larger effort to undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election.

Comey has yet to respond to Hannity’s invitation.
