Sean Spicer’s first post-resignation interview airing on Fox News
Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer will sit down for an interview about his decision to resign on Friday with Fox News host Sean Hannity.
Hannity’s show will also include a separate interview with White House chief of staff Reince Preibus, according to Fox News.
{mosads}Scaramucci’s hiring led to Spicer’s decision to resign on Friday.
The exclusive interview will air at 10 p.m.
The interview will be highly anticipated in part because of reports that Spicer was unhappy with President Trump’s decision to hire Scaramucci.
Spicer did not allude to that in a tweet confirming his resignation, writing that it was “an honor and a privilege” to work at the White House for six months.
It’s been an honor & a privilege to serve @POTUS @realDonaldTrump & this amazing country. I will continue my service through August
