CNN tops MSNBC, Fox after Comey memo dominates coverage
CNN topped cable news ratings on a busy night following a bombshell New York Times report that President Trump asked then-FBI Director James Comey earlier this year to stop an investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
Meanwhile, Fox finished third against its rivals in prime time in the coveted 25- to 54-year-old demographic for two consecutive days. The last time that happened was during the Democratic National Convention in July of 2016.
