House Republican offers flowchart for Marjorie Taylor Greene

Rep. Nancy Mace (S.C.) criticized fellow Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.) over her remarks about the Holocaust, offering a flowchart Tuesday on avoiding invoking the genocide of Jews during World War II.

Mace in a tweet condemned Greene for her latest remarks doubling down on a comparison between vaccinated employees wearing a “vaccination logo” and Nazis making European Jews wear yellow stars during the Holocaust.

“Mask mandates are not even remotely comparable to the discrimination and persecution Jews faced during the Holocaust and to insinuate the two are similar is disgraceful,” Mace tweeted. “Given the rise of antisemitism around the world today, I find this comparison even more appalling.”

Mace then shared a flowchart for those considering invoking the Holocaust, adding, “You should not do that.”

Members of both parties have condemned Greene’s comments comparing the Nazi’s actions to requiring proof of vaccination, including House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.), House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and newly minted House Republican Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.).

Greene, a Trump loyalist, has defended her remarks, telling those who have criticized her to “stop feeding into the left wing media attacks on me.”
