GOP lawmaker doubles down on criticizing Kerry’s political science degree as not ‘science’
Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) doubled down Thursday on his criticism of former Secretary of State John Kerry’s political science degree as not being “science.”
“When I asked Kerry if he had a science degree, he answered ‘no’ but forgot to turn his microphone on,” Massie tweeted.
“The left has been using his flub to conceal what this exchange proved which is Kerry admitted he doesn’t have a science degree, even though his degree says ‘science.'”

Massie and Kerry got into a heated exchange Tuesday during a House Oversight and Reform Committee hearing on combatting climate change.
{mosads}Kerry was serving as a witness because of his key role in negotiating the Paris climate deal.
Massie questioned Kerry over his bachelor of arts in political science from Yale.
“How do you get a bachelor of arts in a science?” the Kentucky Republican asked Kerry.
“Well, it’s liberal arts education and degree, it’s a bachelor,” Kerry responded.
“OK, so it’s not really science,” Massie said. “So I think it’s somewhat appropriate that someone with a pseudoscience degree is here pushing pseudoscience in front of our committee today.”
“Are you serious? I mean, this is really a serious happening here?” Kerry responded.
