READ: House resolution condemning anti-Semitism, bigotry
The House is expected to vote Thursday on a resolution broadly condemning hate in the wake of freshman Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-Minn.) critical comments about Israel.
{mosads}The resolution was initially expected to condemn anti-Semitism, though leaders later revised the resolution to broadly condemn Islamophobia and other types of hate.
The legislative text, which does not specifically name Omar, was released Thursday afternoon.
