Scaramucci: Believing Biden can make another 4 years is ‘political malpractice’

Former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci argued it’s “political malpractice” to believe President Biden can continue running the country if he does not suspend his campaign and wins reelection.

Scaramucci joined John Catsimatidis and Rita Cosby for Friday’s “Cats & Cosby Show,” where he discussed the fallout from last week’s presidential debate and the calls for Biden to drop out of the race.

“We have to be honest about these things and evaluate these things. I don’t think he can make it to the election, if I’m just being brutally honest,” Scaramucci said.

“I don’t think he makes the next four years, and I think it’s political malpractice at this point to suggest otherwise,” he continued.

Biden’s shaky debate performance sparked fear and panic among Democrats. Some are calling on the president to step aside and allow someone else the chance to take on former President Trump in the November election.

Despite the calls, Biden and his campaign insist he is in it for the long haul. In his first major rally since the debate, the president forcefully declared he’s staying in the race.

The decision to step aside ultimately comes down to the president himself, but Scaramucci argued that conversation also includes Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and the first lady, Jill Biden.

Biden will sit down for his first postdebate interview Friday night in what is largely being seen as a make-or-break moment to salvage his campaign and appeal to voters.

Scaramucci, who worked in the Trump administration, argued that even if Biden doesn’t fumble Friday’s ABC interview, it’s not fair to voters to have him continue the campaign.

“I think it’s very unfair to the American people. Whether you like Donald Trump or dislike Donald Trump, the Democrats should put an opponent up that can put sentences together and has some neural flexibility off the teleprompter,” he said.

Scaramucci believes Vice President Harris will take on Trump as the Democratic Party’s nominee. Harris has firmly backed Biden since the debate.
