President Biden’s reelection campaign is set to air new ads during the NHL Stanley Cup Final and MLB games this weekend that aim to share a message of unity about the American flag.

A one-minute spot titled “Our Flag” was unveiled Friday to mark Flag Day. It will air during the Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday, MLB games on regional sports networks in battleground states throughout the weekend and during “CBS News Sunday Morning.”

“I don’t pledge allegiance to red states of America or blue state of America. I pledge allegiance to the United States of America,” Biden says in the ad.

The campaign also launched a 30-second spot Friday titled “This Flag” that takes aim at supporters of former President Trump who carry flags honoring him. That will air throughout the weekend on television and digital platforms, too.

“In America, we pledge allegiance to one flag,” the ad reads.

“Not this flag,” it adds, showing images of Trump supporter flags being held up at the Jan. 6, 2021, riots at the U.S. Capitol.

“One Flag. One America,” the ad says.

The Florida Panthers are up 3-0 against the Edmonton Oilers in the best-of-seven Stanley Cup Final series, meaning Saturday’s game could be the Stanley Cup clincher.
