Former GOP presidential primary candidate Vivek Ramaswamy declined to say what job he would want if former President Trump made it back into the White House.

When asked by Fox News host Sean Hannity in an interview Friday about a possible job in a second Trump administration, Ramaswamy responded by saying that there are “a lot of ways to drive change in this country, inside and outside government.”

“For the last few years, I’ve been doing it through the market,” Ramaswamy continued.

Ramaswamy announced that he was leaving the GOP presidential race and endorsing Trump earlier this week. He faced lackluster turnout in Monday’s Iowa caucuses, according to election returns from Decision Desk HQ/The Hill.

“As of this moment, we are going to suspend this presidential campaign,” Ramaswamy said.

“As I’ve said since the beginning, there are two America First candidates in this race. And earlier tonight, I called Donald Trump to tell him that I congratulate him on his victory, and now going forward, you will have my full endorsement for the presidency,” Ramaswamy said later.

Ramaswamy then said his former fellow candidates Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley should drop out of the race as well during an interview with Fox News anchor Jesse Watters.

“I think Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley would actually, at this point, do this country and this party a service by stepping aside to make sure that we’re focused on not only nominating Donald Trump but getting this country back and reviving those founding revolutionary ideals,” Ramaswamy said.

The race for the GOP presidential nomination makes its next stop in New Hampshire, where Haley is 11.4 points behind Trump, according to a poll average from Decision Desk HQ/The Hill.
