READ: Colorado Supreme Court ruling barring Trump from ballot under 14th Amendment

The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday evening issued a ruling that former President Trump should be prevented from appearing on the GOP primary ballot next year.

The ruling reverses a previous decision by a district court that ruled that the disqualification clause in the 14th Amendment, originally intended to address secessionists in the wake of the Civil War, did not apply to Trump.
