How to watch the fourth GOP primary debate

The fourth Republican primary debate will take place Wednesday night as the last chance for the GOP candidates to speak to a national audience before the end of the year.

The two-hour debate in Tuscaloosa, Ala., will air at 8 p.m. EST on NewsNation, a cable channel owned by Nexstar Media Group, which also owns The Hill.

It will be moderated by former Fox News and NBC host Megyn Kelly, NewsNation anchor Elizabeth Vargas and The Washington Free Beacon Editor-in-Chief Eliana Johnson.

Who will be on stage?

The stage will include Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.

The event will feature the smallest field yet for a Republican debate this cycle, with the Republican National Committee (RNC) again having raised its requirements for qualification. To make the stage, candidates had to reach at least 6 percent in two national polls or in one national poll and two of the four early-voting states: Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina.

Candidates also needed to attain at least 80,000 unique donors, including at least 200 from 20 or more states and territories.

Will Trump be at the debate?

Former President Trump will skip the debate again, having passed on participating in each of the past ones, and instead attend a private fundraiser in Florida.
