The Hill’s Amie Parnes and Jonathan Allen are following up on their bestseller “Shattered” with a new book on the 2020 presidential election.
The new untitled book, to be published by Crown Publishing Group, will cover what appears to be a wide-open race for the Democratic nomination for president and President Trump’s own reelection bid.
{mosads}Parnes and Allen are following “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign,” which debuted as The New York Times No. 1 bestseller.
The book gives firsthand accounts of Clinton’s campaign and suggests that infighting within the Democrat’s team and the lack of a message contributed to her shocking loss to Trump.
TriStar has optioned rights to film “Shattered” as a limited television series.
Parnes has covered the White House and presidential campaigns for The Hill since 2011.
She and Allen, a columnist at Roll Call and adjunct professor at Northwestern University, are also the co-authors of “HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton.”
The two authors have a website for updates on their work at www.jonathanallenandamieparnes.com.
