It’s possible President Trump’s appearance at the Daytona 500 on Sunday will include the presidential limo, “The Beast,” taking a lap around the track, according to a report by Fox Business.

Sources familiar with the plans for Trump’s visit to the Daytona International Speedway told Fox News chief White House correspondent John Roberts that the president is considering taking a lap around the track in the limo, though plans have not yet been finalized.

The president is scheduled to make the visit as a pit stop on the way back from a weekend at his luxury Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Fla.

The Secret Service tweeted Wednesday that it is securing the raceway by imposing a “No Drone Zone” for 30 miles around the site.

A warm welcome is expected for the president, who has a relationship with NASCAR and its fans, though Sunday marks Trump’s first race since being sworn in. Trump was endorsed by NASCAR CEO Brian France during the 2016 presidential election.

NASCAR welcomed Trump’s planned visit in a statement Thursday, saying it’s “honored” that multiple presidents have attended the event over the years, including former President George W. Bush in 2004 and former President George H.W. Bush in 1992.

“Daytona International Speedway has been privileged to have hosted several sitting Presidents of the United States over our history,” Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile said in the press release.

“We’re honored that the President of the United States has chosen to experience the pageantry and excitement of ‘The Great American Race’ by attending Sunday’s 62nd annual Daytona 500,” he added.
