Gorka: Why is the left worried that I’m traveling with Pompeo?

Former White House aide Sebastian Gorka took to Twitter on Tuesday to ask why the left is “mad that I’m in Rome” with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.

Gorka is traveling with Pompeo on the secretary’s European trip as part of the media pool, NBC News reported. The former White House aide works as a contributor for Sinclair TV and hosts a Salem Radio Network talk show.

{mosads}Gorka’s trip with Pompeo triggered outrage among Democrats, prompting the former aide to snap back on Twitter.

“Why is the left so worried?” Gorka asked in the video posted with his tweet.

“Well I think I know — because the house of cards that is Obamagate is collapsing,” he said.

“The crimes of the last administration are being uncovered, and people are running scared,” he added, without providing more details.

The former White House aide last month predicted high-level Obama administration officials will be accused of committing felonies.

Gorka late Monday tweeted that he was waiting at Joint Base Andrews for Pompeo to arrive to begin the trip.

Democrats reacted with shock and frustration to the news.

Newsweek columnist Seth Abramson described the development as “insane.”

Philippe Reines, a former senior adviser to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, called out Pompeo for allowing Gorka on the trip.
