Trump says Spicer will ‘do great’ on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
President Trump on Thursday predicted that former White House press secretary Sean Spicer will “do great” on the next season of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.”
“Just heard that Sean Spicer will be on “Dancing with the Stars.” He will do great,” the president tweeted.
“A terrific person who loves our Country dearly!”

Spicer, who resigned as press secretary in July 2017, announced his appearance on the long-running reality show Wednesday.
{mosads}His addition to the show has been met with backlash from people who are critical of his time in the administration, including host Tom Bergeron who said he would have “agree to disagree” about having political participants.
Spicer made several false statements in the role, including saying that Trump had “the largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period, both in person and around the globe.”
He later said he “screwed up” with the inaccurate remark.
Spicer told the Hollywood Reporter Thursday that he hopes the show will be a “politics-free zone.”
“My hope is that at the end of the season, Tom [Bergeron] looks back on this and realizes what a great example it was of being able to bring people of really diverse backgrounds together to have fun with each other, engage in a real civil and respectful way and maybe show millions of Americans how we can get back to that kind of interaction,” he said.
