Sarah Sanders shares ‘Mueller Madness’ bracket featuring angry Trump haters who got collusion wrong
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Monday shared a “Mueller Madness” bracket featuring the “angry and hysterical” haters who got alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia “wrong.”
The bracket, which was created and published by The New York Post, goes after a range of figures, including MSNBC host Rachel Maddow, former CIA Director John Brennan and comedian Kathy Griffin.
“Which of the angry and hysterical @realDonaldTrump haters got it most embarrassingly wrong?” Sanders asked in a tweet accompanied by a picture of the bracket, which features 32 media personalities.

{mosads}The tweet from Sanders comes as the White House takes a victory lap over the principal conclusions of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian interference.
Attorney General William Barr on Sunday sent Congress a four-page summary that said Mueller did not uncover evidence to conclude the Trump campaign coordinated with the Kremlin during the 2016 presidential election.
Mueller did not reach a definitive conclusion on whether Trump obstructed justice during the probe. But Barr and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein decided Mueller did not provide sufficient evidence of obstruction of justice to pursue it.
Trump told reporters Sunday that the summary represented “a complete and total exoneration.”
“This was an illegal takedown that failed, and hopefully somebody’s going is to be looking at the other side,” Trump said. “So it’s complete exoneration. No collusion, no obstruction.”
Sanders echoed Trump’s remarks on Monday, saying that Democrats and the “liberal media” owed the president an apology.
“[They] have called the president an agent of a foreign government,” Sanders said on NBC’s “Today.” “That is an accusation equal to treason, which is punishable by death in this country.”
She added later that Democrats “wasted two years and created a massive disruption and distraction.”
