Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh is back to coaching youth basketball, despite his previous worries that he would be barred from doing so after facing allegations of sexual misconduct.

Kavanaugh led his younger daughter’s team to the championship game of a tournament in the D.C. suburbs over the Thanksgiving holiday, The Washington Post reported.

The team ended up losing the game, according to the Post.{mosads}

His involvement in the basketball teams comes after allegations of sexual misconduct from Christine Blasey Ford hurled Kavanaugh into a chaotic confirmation battle.

Ford accused Kavanaugh of assaulting her during a high school party in the 1980s, but Kavanaugh strongly denied the accusations and was narrowly confirmed after a contentious Senate hearing.

During a moment in the confirmation battle, Kavanaugh said that he may never be allowed to coach youth basketball again, blaming Democratic attacks on him from the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“I love coaching more than anything I’ve ever done in my whole life,” Kavanaugh said.

“But thanks to what some of you on this side of the committee have unleashed,” he said, “I may never be able to coach again.”
