President Trump said Saturday that he would deliver his written responses to questions from special counsel Robert Mueller next week.
“They’re all done,” Trump told reporters on the South Lawn before leaving the White House to travel to California for a visit in the wake of deadly wildfires.
Trump also said that he has not decided on whether to sit down for an interview with Mueller, according to reporters.

Trump said that he personally wrote the answers, though appears to still be consulting his legal team before turning them over.
Submitting the completed questions would mark a critical step into the investigation into possibles ties between Trump’s campaign and Russia.
Trump has long blasted the probe as unnecessary and a “witch hunt,” and echoed concerns about the investigation on Friday.
“You always have to be careful when you answer questions with people that probably have bad intentions,” Trump told reporters.
