More than 100 groups have signed a letter supporting Andrew Puzder to serve as President Trump’s secretary of Labor, Politico Playbook reported.

“We believe that Mr. Puzder stands ready to promote and enact pro-growth policies that will benefit working Americans across the board,” a letter organized by the International Franchise Association reads. “His confirmation as Secretary of Labor will help reinvigorate the direction of the department, as well as the spirit of America’s business owners and workforce.”

The association includes the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the Retail Industry Leaders Association and the American Iron and Steel Institute.

{mosads}Restaurant associations in Maine and Alaska have also sent letters to their senators, urging them to back Puzder, the CEO of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr.,  for the role. The Maine Restaurant Association sent a letter to Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), while the Alaska Cabaret, Hotel, Restaurant & Retailers Association addressed a letter to Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska).

Puzder’s confirmation hearing before the Senate, which has been rescheduled four times, is now set for Thursday.

The fast-food executive has also devised a plan to avoid any potential conflicts of interest should he be confirmed to the post, which includes stepping down as CEO of CKE Restaurants.
