President Biden is slated to sign a bilateral security agreement Thursday with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, sending what a top White House official called a “signal of our resolve” to Russia almost 2 1/2 years into the war.
The two leaders will sign the pact, which will pledge continued defense and security cooperation, during a sit down at the Group of Seven summit in Italy.
Biden is scheduled to hold a joint press conference following their discussions.
The event is scheduled to begin at 1:45 p.m. EDT.
