Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has launched an effort on the House floor to remove Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.).
Greene is using a motion to vacate to force a vote on Johnson’s Speakership, the same tool used to remove former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.).
Most Republicans oppose the effort, and Democrats are expected to provide votes to help Johnson.
